A valid full driving licence that meets the criteria outlined in the Rental Agreement is required. Additionally, you will need to present valid identification, proof of your current address, and payment information, including a security deposit. Booking and Payments
- Reservations can be completed via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Newtownabbey office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment, along with a security deposit, is generally required upon collection of your vehicle. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include applicable VAT. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment platforms.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Newtownabbey, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage. A vehicle condition report will be created and signed to document the state of the car. Please return the vehicle in the same condition as it was received, accounting for normal wear and tear. Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice given. For precise details, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of rented vehicle:
- The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities or purposes. Engaging in racing, rallying, off-roading, or similar hazardous practices is prohibited. The transport of dangerous materials is also not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly against policy. Additionally, using the vehicle in ways it is not designed for, exceeding passenger or weight limits, and operating outside of designated geographical areas without prior approval are all violations of our terms.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by Northern Irish law, Car Hire in Newtownabbey will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business that may arise from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.
9. Local Regulations
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of local courts.
